Back on Terceira, they decided to bring this architectural concept\u2014which is virtually unheard of in the Azores\u2014to life at their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nit.pt\/fora-de-casa\/turismos-rurais-e-hoteis\/quinta-do-icaro-o-novo-refugio-acoriano-com-casas-triangulares\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nit.pt\/fora-de-casa\/turismos-rurais-e-hoteis\/quinta-do-icaro-o-novo-refugio-acoriano-com-casas-triangulares\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new quinta in Fonte do Bastardo<\/a>.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The triangular motif runs like a common thread throughout the entire design: from the bathroom tiles to the outdoor lighting and the hammocks in the garden. You can also see the typical green and basalt tones of the Azores reflected in the interior. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result: seven elegant wooden villas built with cryptomeria (a wood native to the Azores), which blend harmoniously into the lush landscape. The name of the quinta is inspired by Greek mythology: \u00cdcaro, the figure who flew toward the sun on wings. So you can truly relax.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Than Just a Place to Stay  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The quinta itself is a destination in its own right.
