Not a slick, designer stay, but a place where you instantly slow down. Wake up surrounded by nature, start your day with the aroma of coffee and homemade cake, and sit down for dinner to enjoy recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Casale Il Gallo Bianco (near the medieval town of Offagna in Le Marche) is a wonderful vacation spot: small-scale, welcoming, and rural. And it has a restaurant that serves dishes made with its own produce.

Casale Il Gallo Bianco at a Glance

Location: near Offagna (province of Ancona), in the heart of Le Marche

Small-scale: rooms on the first floor, with a view of the countryside

On-site restaurant: Marche cuisine, lots of homemade dishes (including pasta, crescia, and pastries), meat from our own farm

Farm-fresh products: fruit, vegetables, flour, and (locally sourced) pork; also available for purchase or order

The perfect base: the tranquility of the countryside and a relatively quick trip to the Riviera del Conero

Why We Love This Nature Travel Lab Stay So Much

 1. You’ll be staying in a genuine Marche experience (not a “concept”)

The charm lies in its simplicity: hills, fields, the rhythm of farm life, and that typical Marchigiana hospitality that makes you feel welcome right away.

2. Food that literally comes from the land

The family grows its own fruit, vegetables, and grain, and produces its own meat, which it processes into items such as preserves, jam, and salumi. You can taste the difference in the kitchen: homemade pasta, crescia (local bread), and cakes—all made with flour from their own farm.

3. Combining inland and coastal areas without rushing

You’re nestled among the hills, but you’re also just a short drive from the spectacular Parco del Conero, known for its rugged cliffs and beaches such as Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle.

Sleeping: cozy, functional, and with a view of the hills

The rooms are located on the first floor of the main building, “immersa nel verde” (surrounded by greenery). Expect a cozy, no-frills atmosphere. It’s exactly what you want if you’re out and about during the day and just want to enjoy a good meal and a good night’s sleep in the evening.

The restaurant: a local culinary journey featuring Grandma’s recipes

This is the place to go for classic dishes from Le Marche, prepared just as they’re supposed to be: homemade and seasonal.

What to Expect:

fresh pasta, handmade (ravioli, tagliatelle, gnocchi, passatelli)

traditional sauces, such as duck ragù, “white” rabbit with fennel and olives, and wild boar

Grilled dishes, vegetable dishes from the garden, and homemade sweets

There are also vegetarian options and naturally gluten-free choices

Tip: If the weather permits, eating in the garden (surrounded by greenery and silence) is the kind of vacation memory that sticks with you.

Country life, Slow travel as it was meant to be

This is the kind of place where you naturally start living a simpler life:

A short morning walk past fields and farm life

a day trip (Offagna, Ancona, Loreto, or the Conero coast)

back for a long lunch or dinner with local wine

And if you want an even more authentic farm experience, there are also horses and ponies on the grounds.

Things to Do in the Area (Nature & Culture)

Offagna: a medieval village with an impressive fortress

Offagna is known as a medieval gem, dominated by a 15th-century fortress (Rocca). It’s perfect for an evening stroll through the narrow streets and an aperitivo with a view. Medieval festivals are often held here during the summer months.

Conero Park: Cliffs, Hiking Trails, and Iconic Beaches

The Conero is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the Adriatic Sea: limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and scenic viewpoints. Good to know: some areas are protected and not all are freely accessible. Always check the current rules and access requirements locally (e.g., for Due Sorelle).

Loreto: a magnificent basilica, a short day trip

Loreto is an important destination for art and pilgrimage, home to the famous Basilica della Santa Casa. Even if you aren’t religious, this is a building that will leave you in awe.

Sustainability

The farm has solar panels, minimizes the use of plastic, and practices small-scale farming. Combined with its strong “locally sourced” character (short supply chain), this makes for a stay that fits perfectly with slow & local travel.

 Organic farm

 4 rooms

 Restaurant featuring traditional recipes

 Near the Conero

 Homegrown vegetables, fruit, and meat

[225,252,222,194
253,233,208,209
post-36435","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nature-stay","category-le-marche","category-italy","category-accommodation","tag-agritourism","tag-organic-cuisine","tag-vegetarian-vegan-cuisine","tag-bnb
["GET
