La Dolce Mela (the sweet apple) combines design and tranquility with true sustainability: from the wood and the large windows to the heating system, everything has been designed with respect for the environment.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The atmosphere is <em>adults-only: tranquility <\/em>and privacy are the top priorities. It\u2019s ideal if you want to unwind without the hustle and bustle of children. La Dolce Mela calls itself an<strong>\u201cadult-friendly retreat<\/strong>.\u201d    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why La Dolce Mela Is Your Next Nature Getaway  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sleeping: Wood, Light, and Views<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 11 rooms and suites feature a warm, natural look (lots of wood, soft lighting) and no TV. This is a deliberate choice designed to help you truly unwind and bring nature indoors. Some rooms feature both a jacuzzi and a sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day spent in nature.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Good to know<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free Wi-Fi in all rooms.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A sweet snack is served in the afternoon (between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.).  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;ll receive the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visittrentino.info\/en\/experience\/trentino-guest-card\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Trentino Guest Card<\/strong><\/a>: free public transportation and discounts at dozens of museums and castles.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La Dolce Mela sells its own products, made from apples, as well as products from the surrounding area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Breakfast: local &amp; organic  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start your day with whole-grain bread, homemade cakes, organic eggs, jam, and homemade apple juice. There are plenty of savory options as well (local ham and mountain cheeses). Much of it comes directly from the valley or from organic producers.    <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The showstopper: the natural saltwater swimming pool  <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No traditional chlorine\u2014instead, an electrolysis system that converts the rock salt from the WWF Oasis into natural chlorine. This keeps the water crystal clear, prevents algae growth, and ensures a hygienic swimming experience right in the middle of your garden.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think mountain lake vibes, with crickets and birdsong in the background. The pool is usually open from May through September (from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Although the agriturismo is accessible by public transportation (train to Trento and then a local bus; information available and free travel with the Guest Card), given its rural location, it\u2019s always recommended to come by car. There are a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity (1\u20133 kilometers).  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things to Do in the Area<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can enjoy a good book by the organic pool and take in the golden hour at Castel Toblino. But if you decide to head out, there\u2019s plenty to do. Here\u2019s a great day trip idea: go e-biking along the Valle dei Laghi route, have lunch at a winery (Nosiola), and when you get back, take a dip in the pool or enjoy a relaxing massage.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1) Cycling through the Valle dei Laghi<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The valley has a beautiful bike route that runs along the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/naturetravellab.com\/en\/category\/italy\/lake-garda\/\" data-type=\"category\" data-id=\"84\">Lake Garda<\/a><\/strong> with Toblino, among other places. Landscape: vineyards, villages, glacial valleys. Rent an (e-)bike on site and ride toward Arco and Riva.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2) Castles &amp; Lakes<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plan a relaxing day around <strong>Lake Toblino<\/strong> with its picturesque castle, or choose the peaceful shores of <strong>Lake Terlago<\/strong> for a picnic. (The Path of Nosiola\u2014a wine trail consisting of four loops\u2014connects Toblino and Cavedine, among other places: perfect for an e-bike ride.)   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3) Hiking with a view<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Monte Sorasass tour<\/strong> passes by World War I ruins and offers views of Trento and the Dolomite peaks.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Open year-round<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Dolce Mela is open year-round and is a wonderful place to visit in every season: in the fall, with its warm colors and relaxation in the sauna and hot tub, and in the winter, with Christmas markets offering a magical atmosphere in the nearby villages.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical &amp; Sustainable travel  <\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Best time to visit:<\/strong> spring and late summer for mild weather and quiet trails; if you want to swim in the natural pool, aim for <strong>May\u2013September<\/strong>.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pets:<\/strong> Dogs are welcome (for an additional fee), but not in the breakfast room or by the pool.
