Lindhouse: a small-scale vacation home in Govone (Roero, Piedmont) for hikers and e-bikers

Lindhouse is a small-scale country house with two charming apartments (Ulivo & Salvia) in the quiet hamlet of Govone, between Alba and Asti. You’ll be staying in the heart of a UNESCO-designated landscape (Roero), with hiking and mountain biking trails right outside your door, e-MTB rentals, optional tours led by a certified bike guide, and a hot tub to relax in after your ride.

Why Lindhouse?

  • Location: in Govone, between Alba and Asti, surrounded by the rolling hills of Roero (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
  • Who it’s for: couples, nature lovers, and cycling enthusiasts who enjoy staying independently in their own apartment.
  • Atmosphere: small-scale, personal, peace & nature; a garden with tables, chairs, lounge chairs, and a hammock.
  • Sustainable: a local breakfast in a picnic basket, reuse of materials, e-bikes instead of cars, and plenty of activities right from the house.

About the hosts: Sara & Andrea

Since 2016, Sara and Andrea have been breathing new life into two old cottages, while respecting the original architecture. Their goal: to create a place of tranquility, nature, and simplicity. Much of the furniture is handmade or recycled. Andrea is a certified cycling guide (Piedmont) and can help you with routes, GPX tracks (including via Komoot), or guided tours, including car transfers with bike transport.

The Apartments: Ulivo & Salvia

Style: simple, light, and comfortable, furnished with natural and recycled materials.
Capacity: ideal for 2 people; a crib can be added at Ulivo.

Amenities (both):

  • Dinnerware for 4 people
  • Bedroom with air conditioning
  • Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle
