Relais Torre Marabino is located in the beautiful and somewhat lesser-known town of Ispica, in the Marabino neighborhood. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Baroque towns of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Val di Noto. Visit Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Marzamemi, and Noto, for example.

What’s more, you’re close to the nature reserves in the province of Syracuse and just a few minutes away from the archaeological sites of Cava d’Ispica.

The Vendicari Nature Reserve has a unique ecosystem with a high salinity level that attracts many birds during their migration and also supports beautiful flowers and plants. In the fall, you’ll see many wading birds there, such as herons, storks, and flamingos. In addition to birdwatching, it’s also a wonderful area for hiking or snorkeling.

Charming country hotel with 7 rooms

Torre Marabino offers 7 spacious rooms, including 3 suites on the ground floor and 4 superior rooms on the upper floor. Thanks to the limestone walls, the interior stays pleasantly cool.

All rooms feature a TV, air conditioning, minibar, safe, and a bathroom with a shower and welcome kit. Two superior rooms offer ocean views, while the other two overlook the surrounding countryside. The suites feature a split-level layout with a living area and kitchenette, and a bedroom on the mezzanine. All rooms are named after one of the wines produced at Cantina Marabino.

The extensive breakfast features fresh local and international products.

Swimming Pool and Hydromassage

The inn has a lovely swimming pool and a hot tub. After a day of sightseeing, you can relax on the lounge chairs under the umbrellas and enjoy the beautiful garden with its Mediterranean atmosphere. In the surrounding area, you can stroll among olive and citrus groves, carob trees, and other Mediterranean plants. There’s also a small playground for children.

Natura Iblea Organic Farm

Marabino has its own organic agriturismo. It consists of about 120 hectares of land where products are grown with passion, with respect for nature and the consumer. Natura Iblea is one of the largest organic producers in Southern Italy. They supply, for example, Sicilian citrus marmalade made with cane sugar, honey (including the famous carob honey), sprigged and crumbled oregano, extra virgin olive oil, and tomatoes dried in the Sicilian sun.

Torre Marabino Organic Vineyard

Cantina Marabino produces wines from the “Eloro e Noto” DOC region. These prestigious wines are known throughout the world, such as the Nero d’Avola and Moscato di Noto. Marabino follows the principles of biodynamics in its winemaking. They do not add sulfites to their wines in order to preserve the quality and characteristics of the region.

The winery is nestled amid the beauty of the countryside, spans no less than 30 hectares of vineyards, and produces about 120,000–130,000 bottles of Nero d’Avola and Moscato di Noto.
