The very hospitable and friendly owner, Miguel, has renovated the house while preserving the original character of the historic village of Castelo Novo, with the aim of allowing guests to enjoy its authentic atmosphere and comfort. Pedra Nova, which literally means “new stone,” is located in Castelo Novo. This historic village features a different atmosphere and history on every street. It feels as if time has stood still here. The property overlooks the village and features a lovely garden, a shared lounge area, a terrace, a bar, and a spa and wellness center. Breakfastbreakfast is continental and vegetarian.

Four different rooms in four different styles. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, complimentary toiletries, and a hair dryer. One room is wheelchair accessible.

Things to Do in Pedra Nova – Turismo d’Aldeia

Literally a mountain of experiences. You can go for walks, fish, hike, mountain bike, and ride horses in nature. Serra da Estrela Natural Park is 46 km away, and Capela do Calvário in Belmonte is 42 km away.
