White villages, mountain landscapes, coastal roads, and olive groves: Naxos is an island best explored at a leisurely pace. And what better way to do that than on an (electric) bike? During this unique tour, you’ll explore Naxos by bike over seven days, traveling from the coast to mountain villages, past archaeological gems and hidden tavernas. You’ll wrap up your cycling trip with a few days in Athens. A journey for those who love nature, culture, and a touch of adventure.
You’ll start and end your trip in Athens. You can book this 11-day trip with our local specialist. Read more about this below.

Unlike its better-known neighbors, Santorini and Mykonos, Naxos is authentic, lush, and surprisingly diverse. From high mountain peaks like the legendary Mount Zas to quiet beaches with crystal-clear water. Here, in just a few kilometers, you can go from rugged nature to charming villages. Thanks to electric bikes, the island is accessible to anyone with a little stamina and a great desire for freedom.

After enjoying the island’s tranquility, you’ll take the ferry back to Athens, where you’ll spend two nights at the charming Evripides Hotel in the Psiri neighborhood. It’s close to the Acropolis and the historic city center. An included bike tour takes you past the city’s highlights and Hidden gems, with stories from Dutch-speaking guides who live here.

What makes this trip special is its focus on sustainability and connecting with the local community. You’ll travel by ferry, stay in small-scale accommodations, and ride e-bikes. Plus, you’ll book this trip directly with a (Dutch-speaking) local travel specialist who has mapped out the routes themselves.
