Think of the Lithostroto shopping street, the central square, the Saint Theodore lighthouse, and above all: the iconic De Bosset Bridge. Hike & Bike Kefalonia: Explore the Island at a Leisurely Pace

If you want to experience Kefalonia in a way that feels both peaceful and intense, this 8-day hike & bike tour is the perfect balance: you’ll see the highlights, but above all, you’ll discover the island in between. From a leisurely city ride through Argostoli to the “wow” moment on Mount Ainos at sunrise, and from swimming during the Fiskardo hike to sampling local specialties; this itinerary provides structure without feeling rigid.

My tip: Make sure to plan your day off to be “laid-back” (a boat tour, exploring caves, or hopping from beach to beach) so you have enough time to recover for the hikes. And if you’re traveling in the early or late season, the temperatures are ideal for hiking and biking.
